Quintessential pub perched above the village of Box, crammed with memoribilia from the quarrying days. Enjoy the picturesque views over the valley towards Colerne and Bath, quaff a local ale or tuck into a dish from the excellent menu. Something for everyone.
The service was so slow. We ended up leaving before the dessert menu got to us we waited so long. There were only 2 tables eating and they still couldn't manage. Shame as the food is nice.
Lovely old pub with lots of character and great views. Good drinks selection and the food looked tempting.
