Stopped in here on the off chance. Let me just say, it was fantastic. Very cozy, great atmosphere. They guy who runs it Daniel, made me feel welcome. Would highly recommend this pub.
Daniel, the new owner, managed to cater for my Dad's post funeral wake despite not having a chef. There was approximately 80 people and all of the food was demolished. Staff were really friendly and the venue lends itself to family groups as the garden has lots for children to enjoy. It's a great pub and always makes you welcome. Looking forward to a chef being available so that the restaurant can be utilised again. Massive thanks to Daniel and his team for pulling all the stops out to make the gathering memorable for all.
Have had Sunday lunch a while ago and both times enjoyed it. Ales were good when I last visited it.
Good service, with good selection of tables, ie in a nook, or more open area. The best fish and chips, and seafood dish with seasonal veg! The batter on the huge fish was the lightest and crispiest . . . Well worth it!!
