Nobody I spoke to in Boxhill had anything nice to say about this pub so I decided to pop in as we walked through Corsham.Very glad I did. What an absolute find! This pub is full of character and the moment you step through the front door you are like 'Wow' the decor is just awesome, quirky, historical, niche and it is very cosy, very authentic! It is everything you hope a pub would be! I hope they never change and hold on to their individuality which sure is a labour of love for the owners! We only popped in for shandies today but we will be back with family and I will recommend this pub to any and everyone! The barman that served us today was very smart, friendly, warm and welcoming.Music was great! 3 open fires was lovely! It was like stepping back in time to when public houses were intimate, real and furnished to compliment its age and history.A true gem in a very sleepy town. Beat the Methuen Arms hands down!

Top banana. I'm 50. I've been in lots of pubs and bars. This is one of the most original. Staff are really friendly. Great choices of real ales. Lots of interesting spaces to hang out in. I've heard the food is good. What's not to like?

Fantastic ale / pub / restaurant in Corsham Town. It's 17th Century with modern touches. We had Christmas dinner which was fantastic; Turkey, pigs in blankets, roast parsnips and potatoes, ham and turkey plus vegetables! Plus a starter and pudding! Worth a visit and good price at 25. Didn't try the ale as i was working but I was told they were very good.

What a cute and quirky pub! Lovely food and friendly staff. Definitely going back...and taking friends

Lovely little traditional pub hidden away in the old part of Corsham.Food was very good although it wasn't cheap (30/head for 2 course meal and drinks).Service was annoyingly slow and several times we needed to prompt the waitress before getting served. If you are looking for good food this place is well worth a visit providing you are not in a rush.If you want value for money you would be better off going elsewhere!
