Called in yesterday afternoon with my husband and another couple after a nice long walk. We ordered 4 coffees, 2 arrived after about 10 minutes and the other 2 took another 10 minutes to come. All the coffees were only lukewarm. Disappointed as there was a lovely atmosphere and the food looked good but the service needs to step up.

Food is excellent. The portions are reserved, ordering a side per person is recommended. The service staff are lovely and professional with a light presence. However they are slow at bill paying time and the wait to pay seems very long. A very good experience and Corsham is fortunate to have such a great hotel and restaurant.
Giving a 5 star as it's such a lovely place, and the food and staff are fab. The toilets were such a let down on this occasion, plus they are very dark. Dog friendly with a big car park at the back. Will be back.
Had a Sunday roast today at the Methuen Arms.You will not get a better roast dinner anywhere.The quality of the food is fantastic,they also provide excellent wines and real ale.Finally the staff are amazing.Even though they were busy the food was in good time and nothing was too much trouble.
