Very good service. Lovely and helpfull hosts. Room I stayed in was very comfortable and clean. The food is beautiful. The hosts and locals make for a lovely relaxing atmosphere. I've been twice and when I have business in the area, I will certainly go there again.Peter Ansem
Booked for dinner at the very last minute. The landlady was really friendly and welcoming, as were the locals. There was an open fire and it was nice and warm. Good selection of local beer and cider and a really good gin selection.The food is fantastic, all homemade by the landlord. Chicken wings are fried perfectly in a great coating and the brie with chutney was equally delicious. For mains we had the boerie burger with sweet potato fries, which was unusual but extremely good, we would travel back just for that alone! The venison was meltingly tender, with lovely mustard mash.The only problem was that afterwards we didn't have room for dessert!I definitely recommend eating here and we will be going back.

Excellent Sunday roast, the best we've had in a long time! The beef was local and totally delicious! It has a beautiful peaceful garden which you can access the rec and playground from. Baby changing facilities good, great selection of toys too! Can't fault this place and the owners were so friendly and welcoming. Hidden gem!
