I feel obliged to share our experience of the Moonlight Indian restaurant in Corsham this evening. A group of five of us ordered a wide range of dishes from the menu, all of which were fantastic and in a different league to any Indian food Ive tasted in the past fifteen years. The drinks were fresh and crisp, the desserts were wonderful. We had two mixed tandoori grills which were particularly awesome; cooked perfectly yet the meat retained moisture and wasnt dry. One staff member took time to explain several unfamiliar dishes on the menu and changed my partners drink to large at no extra cost.My 3 year old son randomly decided that he wanted some cucumber - no problem! Within a minute there was sliced cucumber on our table.The only minor criticism was that the staff were quite eager getting us to order while we were enjoying a few drinks to start, but they got the message and the food was so good that we forgot about that :)The place was packed and I can see why - well be back 100%Long live Moonlight!

Best Indian I have ever had. Gorgeous fresh authentic food and lovely friendly staff. Won't ever go anywhere else for an Indian now. A real asset to Corsham.

The food when it arrived was good -a level above the standard Indian. However there were 2 issues. Firstly the wait - well over 30 minutes for the main (only) course. Personally I am prepared to wait of the food is good but my companions weren't so understanding.Secondly, and more importantly, the portion sizes are just too small. A main, rice and side dish left us all hungry. That shouldn't be the case.Sort out these issues and this will be the best in the area.EDIT: Since my first visit glad to say both these issues have been sorted out so I am amending my rating. Now excellent!
