Corsham court wasn't open when I went, but the grounds are vast and picturesque.
It's a great place for a day out or a walk in the nearby farmland, there is also a beautiful lake in the field of you happen to travel far enough.
Good open space for walks
Having enjoyed the friendly local town I was looking from the gateway at Corsham Court. Suddenly I was spoken to in an extremely unpleasant manner saying if I didnt have an appointment I couldnt go in! No friendly comment on its beauty or mention of opening times. I see all negative reviews get a sharp response, it appears this is the way here - what a shame for such a beautiful place.
As a local living close to Corsham Court I often hear the Peafowl that reside within the grounds and that also wander the town free to do as they please. The house and grounds are beautiful as well as the Bath Spa Uni that also shares the house and occupies the upper floors. Its a 10 entry for the house and gardens and the house contains many pieces of rare and unique art, the grounds are well maintained and are open most of the year except December and certain days of the week.
