Warm & comfy on a cold, wet afternoon. Hot tea and piece of cake went down well. Very dog friendly with a few inquisitive noses poking about.

I find it quite disrespectful that they have built a cafe/bar on a church, in the play area you can just see over the fence which has tonnes of gravestones stacked up in piles which must mean the playground is on top of a burial ground! But altogether I like the Grounded franchise and the food it does taste good it doesn't seem like the chefs put very much effort into it and also the people at the 'bar' the people who work there always seem to not have a care in the world, if you want a five stars from me you should probably improve your staff. They also need to be able to provide information, because last time I went there every table was full, then one of the children spotted tables on a balcony, I asked one of the staff and they didn't reply so we went up there anyway, then a employee spotted us and told us off, not impressed.
An excellent little cafe, restaurant. Set in a stunning building. Prices are good and the staff are informed, professional and friendly. With plenty of inexpensive parking available it is a fine establishment for a quick bite to eat in Corsham. Serves excellent coffee and has a bar for those in need of a tipple.
Update! - Grounded has improved after this review was posted. The menu has been decreased but the quality of food is a lot better. The cafe is cleaner and the prices have dropped a little. This is because of new management.Original review- Grounded is not always the best place to eat but because its the only place open on Sunday its got the monopoly. Most of the time its dirty and so are the tables. The staff look overworked and under appreciated and I feel sorry for them. There is not a very good selection available and prices are extremely expensive for extremely average food and not worth the money. The breakfast are good but of course expensive and small for what your paying. Only visit if you want a considerably lighter wallet.
