Very disappointed I placed an order at a charity event on Saturday 8th of April to collect on the 14th April for my mums birthday meal. At the time of placing the order my mobile number name and E MAIL address were taken. I believed that at the time of booking I was able to pay cash on collection of the cake, however I misheard that and this isn't correct. An E mail was sent confirming order and asking for payment the very same day but sadly I only received this today 13 th April at 7 am I wrote back straight away apologising and explained I hadn't received the e mail until now and would happily pay on collection and could they confirm order still stood, I had a response at 10.15 saying it had been cancelled and was no longer going ahead due to lack of payment. I received that message at 3.15 pm along with another e mail that was sent Tuesday explaining order has been cancelled. On the day of the charity event I heard them explain that the type of order I had placed could be made on a same day basis if needed therefore I feel that if I messaged at 7.15 am this morning they could have responded much sooner and possibly the order could have been full field.Not at any point from placing the order until now have I had a telephone call from the company, I don't see the use in taking contact details if they are not going to be used. On finding the telephone number through google as the e mails don't state the business number I rang and left a message to explain the timings of the e mails. I received an e mail back explaining that my call couldn't be taken as they were driving which is plausible however a further two messages were left by myself and again e mail responses, I can't help feel my calls were ignored and they didn't want to discuss it with me In person. All in all very disappointed Just make sure that you follow orders up as they rely solely on e mail correspondence which isn't always reliable as we know Just dashing to the shops to buy a shop bought cake x
Just picked up my sons Charizard Pokemon cake for birthday and have been really impressed with the professionalism and service of Keylicious cakes. I've had great communication throughout and the cake is awesome. I will definitely be using a again. Thanks again Keighleigh
